Who can enter?
Amateur brewers who are 21 years or older.
How much is the entry fee?
There is no fee for entering the Battle of the Iron Homebrews!
What styles are allowed in the competition?
This competition is open to the following Styles: #6 Light Hybrid Beer, #10 American Ale, #12 Porter, #14 India Pale Ale (IPA), and #23 Specialty Beer. The Specialty Beer must contain the “secret ingredient” of rose petals.
How many time can I enter?
Only one entry is allowed per person per sub category.
How many bottles and oz. do I need to submit?
Two (2) bottles, minimum of 10 oz. each, must be submitted for each entry.
Will the public be able to taste my homebrew?
No, homebrew tastings will not be available to the public. The empty bottles and will be displayed at the event along with information on the brewer.
When will judging take place and can I attend?
The judging process is closed to the public and will take place prior to the Battle of the Bones.
When will we find out who the winners are?
At the award ceremony on Sunday, June 24th, between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Winners will also be announced on the website following the event.
